Terms of Service

Last updated: August 28, 2026

About the Service

PingZen is an uptime monitoring service for websites and network services: scheduled checks, alerts, public status pages and reports. By using the service you agree to these terms.

Who Operates the Service

The service is built and operated by an independent developer, not a company. We state this openly: there is no legal entity, no support department and no contractual obligations behind it. You can get in touch on Telegram: @rassadaRB

Plans and Commercial Use

The free plan is allowed for commercial projects.

  • You may monitor your own product, your clients' infrastructure, and any revenue-generating project
  • There is no personal, non-commercial use restriction
  • Permission to use the service is not a commitment to keep it available — see the section below

No Warranty

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.

  • We do not guarantee any level of availability (SLA), response time, or data durability
  • Checks may be missed, delayed or return a false result; alerts may fail to arrive
  • No compensation, refunds or service credits are provided for downtime
  • Do not rely on PingZen as the only source of truth about the health of critical infrastructure

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for losses, lost profits or any other damages arising from a missed, delayed or false alert, from service unavailability, or from loss of monitoring data.

Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Monitor hosts you do not own and have no owner permission for. PingZen is not a scanning tool for third-party infrastructure
  • Use the service for load-testing third-party resources, denial-of-service attacks, or circumventing access restrictions
  • Send spam through alert channels or webhooks
  • Break applicable law or infringe the rights of others

Limits and Abuse Protection

Plan limits are listed on the pricing page. We may throttle check frequency, lower limits, suspend or delete an account that creates excessive load or breaks the rules above — without prior notice where necessary.

Data

What data we collect, how it is stored and for how long is described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your monitors and your account at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The current version always lives on this page, with the last-updated date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.

Discontinuation

We may discontinue the service in whole or in part. If that happens, we will make a reasonable effort to notify users in advance via the website and email so you can export your data.
