Know When Your Site Goes Down. Before Your Users Do.

PingZen checks websites, APIs, servers, DNS and SSL certificates and tells you in Telegram, Slack, Discord, MS Teams or by email when one fails.

The monitors list in PingZen. Demo data.

Telegram alerts

Cron jobs and backups

A job pings PingZen after each run. When a ping does not arrive on time, you get an alert.

Cron monitoring

IP cameras and recorders

Not only whether RTSP answers, but whether the camera sends video: its frame rate, bitrate and a frame on request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The free plan includes up to 55 monitors, 1-minute intervals, all 23 protocols, with alerts to Telegram, email and webhooks plus up to 3 saved integrations (Slack, Discord, MS Teams, Mattermost, web push). No credit card, no trial period.

An alert goes out within seconds once a failure is confirmed. By default a failure is confirmed by 3 failed checks in a row, so with a 1-minute interval you hear about a real outage in about 2–3 minutes. You can lower the confirmation threshold to a single check in the monitor settings.

23 protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, TCP, UDP, ICMP Ping, gRPC, DNS, WHOIS, TLS/SSL, SMTP, IMAP, POP3, FTP, FTPS, DNSBL, PageSpeed, SOCKS5, MTProxy, API checks, and more.

PingZen offers 1-minute intervals (vs 5 minutes), 23 protocols (vs 5), and up to 55 monitors — for free. Plus alerts via Telegram, Discord, and Slack. And our free plan allows commercial use — UptimeRobot's free plan has been personal-use only since December 2024.

Yes. The free plan has no personal-use restriction — monitor your own SaaS, your clients' sites, or anything that generates revenue. The service is provided as is, with no uptime guarantee or compensation; see the Terms of Service.

Invite them to a workspace: sidebar → Manage Workspaces → members icon → Invite member. If your colleague already has a PingZen account, invite them by email; if not, create a one-time 14-day link and send it over any messenger. Sharing works on every plan — the free one includes 3 members per workspace. An editor can change monitors, a viewer only reads, and alerts stay personal to each member.

By default, checks run from our three probes: Moscow (Selectel) and Novosibirsk in Russia, and Minsk in Belarus. Their current IP addresses are listed in the monitor form next to each location and at /docs/bot — we publish them live rather than in this answer, so a rehosted checker never leaves you with a stale firewall rule. If you need checks from other regions, you can add a self-hosted external checker on your own VM — see /docs/probes for details.

Yes. PingZen supports HTTP/HTTPS API monitoring with status code validation, WebSocket (WS/WSS), gRPC, and multi-step API transactions — all free.

Yes. PingZen has a REST API with a public OpenAPI schema (/openapi.json). Create a key in the account menu → API Keys: in the REST API it works for monitors (create, edit, pause, CSV); alerts, incidents and status pages take a sign-in token, or use MCP, which accepts the same key. The free plan includes 5 API keys.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets AI agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf manage your monitors, alerts, and incidents directly. Connect PingZen as an MCP server and control everything from your IDE.

Yes. PingZen has built-in Heartbeat monitoring. Create a heartbeat monitor, add a simple HTTP call to the end of your cron job or script, and PingZen will alert you if it doesn't run on time.
