Overview
PingZen is a website and service uptime monitoring platform. We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service.
What Data We Collect
- Account data: email, name (when signing up via OAuth — name and avatar from Google/Yandex/Telegram)
- Monitor data: URLs, protocols, check intervals, check results
- Alert data: notification channels (Telegram, email, Slack, Discord, webhooks)
- Visit analytics: anonymous visitor_id (UUID), page path, date (no cookies, no IP addresses)
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not sell or share data with third parties
- We do not use tracking cookies
- We do not store user IP addresses
- We do not use advertising networks
MCP Server (Claude Desktop)
The PingZen MCP Server is a local tool that runs on your machine.
- Test mode: no data is collected, no network requests are made
- Live mode: connects only to your configured PostgreSQL and Redis instances
- No telemetry or usage analytics
- No data sent to PingZen servers
Data Retention
Check results are retained for 90 days. Visit analytics for 30 days. Account data is retained until account deletion.
Third-Party Services
- Yandex Metrika: visit analytics (anonymized)
- Cloudflare: DNS and CDN proxy
Security
- HTTPS on all endpoints
- JWT authentication with token rotation
- SSRF protection (private IP blocking)
- Workspace-level data isolation
